Network Security Engineer
- Cisco, Palo Alto, Checkpoint Firewalls and IPSCE VPN.
- Consolidation, Access requests, upgrades, and cleanup tasks.
- Specialized security hardware and software administration and maintenance.
- Project, design, development, and operational configuration and implementation.
- Troubleshooting and security event response.
- Implementation to support compliance, best practice, and policy
- Install, configure, and support an organization’s local area network (LAN).
- Wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.
- Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability
- Monitor and web site performance to ensure websites operates correctly and without interruption.
- Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
- Supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists
- Administer network security measures
- Work on tickets in ticketing system • Update Visio diagrams to keep network diagrams up to date
- Code upgrades on LAN and security devices
- Co-ordinate with other teams while implementing network changes
Position require Travel to various unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S with expenses paid by the employer.
